Community Calendar

On Sunday, June 25, St John’s Lutheran Church, Louisville, located on the Effingham-Clay County line, will celebrate its 150^th Anniversary with a special service.  The service begins at 4:00 p.m. with the theme ”God’s Continued Blessings In The Military”.  The Rev. Ryan Eden, who was a former Pastor at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Louisville will be the guest preacher.

There will be a light meal served following the worship service.  After the meal there will be a short presentation by two veterans, Dan McKinney and Congressman John Shimkus.

We will honor the veterans with attire in patriotic colors.  Veterans present will be eligible for door prizes.  Everyone is invited to attend.
