The Silk Purse Thrift Store now located in the former Samuel Music Building at 908 W Fayette Ave in Effingham, will be holding our bi-annual bag sale on Saturday, August 13th, from 8-1.

You may purchase a bag for $4.00 and fill it with anything in the store. Items for sale will include clothing, shoes, and accessories for the whole family, toys, linens, décor, books, and other misc. household items. The store will close at1pm that day.

Other dates to note: OnFriday, August 12th, the day before the sale, the entire store will be 50% off. On Monday, August 15th, the store will be closed for cleaning and restocking.

The Silk Purse was developed to supplement the income of the Family Life Center, a not-for-profit organization. 100% of net proceeds help support the Family Life Center.
