One Person Injured in Local Crash

A passenger was injured in a two-vehicle collision on Fayette Avenue at the interstate entrance ramp.
The crash happened at 12:31pm Tuesday when a vehicle driven by 57-year-old Shirley Haslow of Round Lake Beach turned and was struck by a vehicle driven by 43-year-old James Vanleer of Washington, Missouri.
A passenger in the Haslow vehicle, 50-year-old Michelle Gioe of Round Lake Beach, was injured but declined treatment. Haslow was cited for failure to yield.
