Illinois Governor Pat Quinn will sign the state's gay marriage bill into law on November 20th in Chicago. Quinn had said he wanted to schedule the signing ceremony so that as many people as possible could attend.

Once he puts his signature on the bill, Illinois will become the 15th state to allow same-sex couples to get married. The law would take effect next June.
