St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital is enhancing its patient experience by launching Valet Parking at the hospital for those entering from the Mulberry Street Patient Entrance. Complimentary Valet Parking will be offered Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.  The service is available to anyone visiting the hospital, whether a patient or visitor.

A Valet will greet people as they arrive in the outer lane of the Mulberry Street entrance. They will assist people from their vehicle and give each driver a ticket that corresponds to a ticket attached to the keys and a ticket that remains in the car. Through coordination with the Welcome Center representative, patients will be provided directional assistance to their destination. When the person is ready to leave St. Anthony’s, the valet will retrieve their car and bring it back up to the Mulberry Street entrance until 4 p.m.

Ross Richardson, Director of Guest Services, shared why the hospital wanted to provide Valet Parking to the community.

“Through input from our colleagues, community members and patients, we recognize the significant challenges that exist for our patients entering the Mulberry Street Patient Entrances. For years, these entrances have required our patients and visitors to walk up a flight of stairs to gain access to either the patient entrance or the emergency entrance.  In addition, parking for the physically-challenged has been very limited in this area,” she explained. “By initiating Valet Parking, we are continuing our dedication to improve our patient experience by committing resources to provide convenient access for our patients and visitors.”
