The Effingham High School Fall Musical will be presented this week.

The musical was flip-flopped this year with the Fall Play, which will be presented in the spring.  The director of the play was unavailable for fall due to her pregnancy.

This year's musical is "The Drowsy Chaperone", a Tony Award-winning hit on Broadway in recent years.  The premise involves a girl who stays at home and listens to musicals on her phonograph. One night, she puts on a record and the musical comes to life in her apartment.

Those who enjoy classic show tunes will enjoy this one.

Performances are scheduled this Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 7pm and Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 2pm.

Ticket prices are $7 for adults, $6 for senior citizens, and $5 for students ages 5 to 18.  Tickets are available before school each morning, over the lunch periods and after school in the EHS Office, and will be available at the door.
