Six People Arrested in Jasper County Drug Bust

Six people have been arrested after authorities recovered drugs, cash and guns at a residence in Yale.

Jasper County sheriff's deputies executed a search warrant Saturday, October 12 at 411 East County Highway 6 in Yale.  Deputies recovered a large amount of crystal methamphetamine, guns and cash. 

Those arrested at the scene are 44-year-old David C. Halterman of Palestine, 42-year-old Jason D. Reed of Flat Rock, 28-year-old Ashley M. Attaway of Yale, formerly of Palestine and 27-year-old Karen C. Douglas of Robinson.  Deputies later served arrest warrants on 36-year-old Rebecca A. Moore Ochs of Yale and 28-year-old Toby L. Depoister of Yale.

All six defendants have been charged with a Class X felony count of possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver.  Bond was set at $250,000 for Halterman and at $100,000 for the other five defendants.
