Two Vehicles Collide on Effingham's West Side

Two vehicles collided on Effingham's west side at 11:30 Wednesday morning.

The crash occurred on US Route 40 at Outer Belt West when a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Jeanne Sowers of Altamont rear-ended a vehicle driven by 47-year-old Virginia Kendall of Altamont.

Sowers was injured, but refused treatment. 

No tickets were issued.
