A pension deal could be looming.

State Representative Elaine Nekritz told the Chicago Tribune it's very liikely a vote could come as early as next month, during veto session.  She's on the 10-member committee charged with finding a fix for the state's $100 billion pension problem.

Other members say progress had been slow and steady and weren't quite as optimistic about a fix coming so soon.

Nekritz didn't give a lot of detail about the possible solution, but she says whatever it is, it'll likely be challenged in court.
