Effingham High School Friday night football is always fun and exciting, but nothing makes it more fun than playing for a good cause.

On Friday, October 11, Effingham High School Football is partnering once again with St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in their 2013 “Real Men Wear Pink” campaign.  The game will be held at 7 p.m. at Klosterman Field.

The theme of the night is “Playing Tonight for a Cure Tomorrow” as everyone is asked to deck out in pink to support breast cancer awareness.  “Real Men Wear Pink” hits the playing field during this football game against Mattoon as the Effingham football team dons pink shoelaces to show support for the cause.  St. Anthony’s colleagues will be offering free pink soda huggies to those attending the game (while supplies last).
