The public is invited to observe Saturn from Eastern Illinois University’s observatory at 9 p.m. Friday, June 29.

Visitors will be able to use the observatory's state-of-the-art, 16-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. Even if it’s cloudy, the observatory will be open for tours.

Eastern's observatory is located southwest of the Campus Pond. Because Fourth Street is blocked, traffic may have to approach the parking lot from the south. For a campus map, see
