Two youths were injured in a crash involving a four-wheeler and another vehicle Tuesday night in Jasper County.
State police report the crash occurred on a rural road one mile north of West Liberty in the south part of the county at 7:11pm. The four-wheeler being operated by 15-year-old Courtney Wilson of West Liberty was traveling on a private drive but traveled across a county road into the path of a vehicle driven by 39-year-old Melissa Lybarger of Dundas and Lybarger's vehicle struck the four-wheeler. The impact caused Wilson and her passenger, 11-year-old Dakota Muncy of West Liberty, to be ejected from the four-wheeler.
Wilson and Muncy were both injured and were taken to Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney for treatment. Wilson was cited for failure to yield.
