The trial of murder suspect Charles Yoder has been pushed back another month.

Effingham County Public Defender Scott Schmidt Thursday told Judge Kimberly Koester that results from lab tests have still not been received from the State, an item confirmed by State's Attorney Bryan Kibler.

Koester vacated Yoder's scheduled trial date of September 3 and rescheduled the start of the trial for October 7.  A pre-trial hearing on any pending motions was scheduled for September 19 at 11am.

The 52-year-old Yoder is charged with stabbing Ted Debany to death with a knife May 7 during an altercation in Effingham.

Yoder is being held without bond in Effingham County Jail.
