Mason resident Nathan D. Williams has received prison time for a Clay County burglary.

The 49-year-old Williams was sentenced Monday to seven years in prison. Clay County State's Attorney Phillip Givens said Williams entered Gatsby's 45 on February 18. Williams pled guilty and received the prison term. He will serve one year mandatory supervised release once out of prison.

Givens said the investigation was conducted by the Clay County Sheriff's Office with co-operation from Effingham County authorities.
