Altamont Man Injured Monday Afternoon

An Altamont man was injured in a Monday afternoon crash in Jackson Township.

63-year-old Danny A. Lecrone was traveling south on 800th Street, just south of 1075th Avenue at 3:26pm. Effingham County Sheriff's Office reported that the Lecrone vehicle veered off the roadway to the left and continued to travel approximately 100 yards south of the intersection, colliding with a tree on the east side of the road.

Lecrone was taken to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment. 

Lecrone was cited for DUI and for improper lane usage.
