Noon Rotarians Hear Information on Behalf of Aging Population

Jean Bohnhoff, known for her work on behalf of aging issues, was the February 12th guest at the Effingham Noon Rotary Club meeting.

Bohnhoff discussed her association with AARP in Illinois as well as her work at Brookstone of Effingham. A chief topic was elder abuse, steps to take to avoid such abuse, and ways to advocate on behalf of the aging.

Bohnhoff is also a former Director of the Illinois Department on Aging.

Mike Kirchhoff was the Rotary weekly program chairman.
