One Person Injured in Crash in Effingham

One person was injured during a crash in Effingham during the noon hour on Tuesday.
The crash occurred at 12:45pm east of the intersection of South Willow Street and Wabash Avenue. City police say a vehicle driven by 75-year-old Charles Denson of Shreveport, Louisiana rear-ended a vehicle driven by 44-year-old Tammy Berg of Effingham.
Berg was injured, but refused treatment. Denson was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid the crash.
