Brownstown Board Holds October Meeting

Brownstown school board members Monday handled several personnel matters.

The Board accepted resignations from Chad Towler as high school girls basketball assistant coach and from Jessica Sefton as 5th and 6th grade basketball head coach. 

The Board employed: Dustin Sefton as 5th and 6th grade basketball head coach; Jacy Schaub as 5th and 6th grade basketball assistant coach; Adrienne Wright as 1:1 paraprofessional; and Ethan Kough as custodian.

Two people were approved as volunteer coaches: Chad Towler for high school girls basketball and Cade Schaub for 5th and 6th grade basketball. 

The Board set Class of 2025 graduation date for Saturday, May 10; authorized the superintendent to prepare the tax levy and resolution for abatement of taxes; and approved the FFA chapter to attend the FFA national convention in Indianapolis.
