Teutopolis village board members have approved an intergovernmental agreement with the Teutopolis Unit 50 School Dstrict.
The agreement allocates Tax Increment Financing dollars to the school district to help pay for a school bus.
Teutopolis Unit Superintendent Matt Sturgeon and school board members Courtney Tegeler and Erin Ordner attended the village board's meeting to discuss how the funds could be allocated on an annual basis.
The village board also asked Milano and Grunloh Engineers to review sidewalks around town and how and where about $43,000 in funds could be utilized for repairs. The Board tabled for now the asphalting of John Street from Main Street to Walnut Street, but did vote to pass a resolution of support for a grant application.
Board members approved another agreement related to a sidewalk project in the southwest part of town, and discussed mapping software for public utilities with Village Engineer Lee Beckman.
