Effingham Noon Club Rotarians are a giving group, so they were a receptive audience for a presentation on the recent "More 4 Moore" effort that raised cash and commodities for those affecting by the tornadoes that struck the Oklahoma City area at the end of May.

There were four presenters; Darcy Nestler of Broadway Express who arranged the transportation for the goods...Cheryl Phillips of Discount Eyewear Outlet, who helped organize the collection effort...Newlin Martin, who allowed the collection effort to take place at Martin's IGA+ and also supplied many goods...and Dave Ring of 979XFM and KJ Country 102.3 who allowed the radio stations to serve as the voice of the collection effort.

"More 4 Moore" raised more than $10,000 in cash and over 40,000 pounds of goods.

Twila Orr served as Rotary weekly program chairman.
