Teutopolis Board Finalizing Staff for New Year

Teutopolis school board members approved a number of personnel moves in conjunction with the start of the school year.

The Board approved hirings and assignments, including Brittany Schultz as grade school paraprofessional, Susan Goeckner as junior high school paraprofessional, Brent Weber as junior high volunteer baseball coach, Melissa Habing as high school tennis assistant coach, Justin Kowalski and Manny Wei to split the high school assistant golf coach position for this school year, Diane Greuel as high school volunteer cross country coach, and Adam Lustig as high school volunteer golf coach. 

Also, Teutopolis Superintendent Matt Sturgeon reported that work continues on establishing an after school program with the posting of a vacancy for a program director, and resignations were accepted from Brian Koester as transportation director and from Samantha Bloemer as grade school paraprofessional. 

The Board placed the tentative budget for the new school year on display with a hearing on the budget at the Board's September meeting, and authorized the purchase of a used activtiy bus. 

Board members also toured the Teutopolis High School building, following a tour of the junior high school building at a special meeting earlier this month.
