Two Injured in Monday Afternoon Crash

Two people, one a child, were injured in a Monday afternoon crash in Effingham.
The crash occurred at 2:09pm at the intersection of Third and Jefferson. City police say a vehicle driven by 40-year-old Anthony Livingston of Marshall rear-ended a vehicle driven by 46-year-old Susan Fuesting of Effingham.
Fuesting and a passenger in Livingston's vehicle, seven-year-old Aiden Walker of Marshall, were injured and were taken by ambulance to St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment.
Livingston was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid the crash.
