Local Legislators Sworn in for 103rd General Assembly

The state legislators who will represent portions of Effingham County and the surrounding area were sworn in to new terms in the 103rd Illinois General Assembly on Wednesday.

In a separate story, we have information on the new status of St. Rep. Blaine Wilhour of Beecher City. Also, St. Sen. Darren Bailey of Xenia concluded his legislative tenure with the end of the 102nd General Assembly.

McClure will represent all or portions of Christian, Cumberland, Effingham, Macon, Macoupin, Menard, Montgomery, Moultrie, Sangamon and Shelby counties.
