If you could find some shade and took advantage of the breeze, it was pretty nice in downtown Effingham Saturday for Day 2 of HAM-JAM for 2022.
Despite the temperatures, a good crowd gathered to take advantage of the activities, especially the kids events.
The special vehicles were a popular event, including a city police squad car and city fire engine. The complimentary breakfast was a hit. Representatives of Continental Mills said they served 1,500 pancake meals and a large load of sausage provided by McMahon Meats was gone a half-hour before the breakfast ended. Fox Holler Coffee and Kirby Foods provided the beverages for the event.
