North Clay school board members proceeded this week with the sale of bonds to finance a major infrastructure project.

The Board voted to sell $4,050,000 in working cash bonds to increasing the working cash fund of the district, and voted to sell $8,400,000 in funding bonds to pay claims against the district during the project.

Board members disussed the athletic co-op agreement, but took no votes. They also voted to co-op for bass fishing with the Clay City district.

The Board acted to add the district's mitigation measures to the district's back to school plan, and discussed their experiences with the State Board of Education but took no action on that measure.

In personnel moves, the North Clay board hired Chrissy Erwin as volunteer high school track coach, hired Neal Conard as high school bass fishing sponsor, agreed to post for an additional high school or junior high Math teacher for the coming year and for an additional first grade teacher for the coming year. The Board accepted the resignation of Tonni Micklautz as high school cross country coach and the resignation of Arnita Fender as high school cheer sponsor. They also voted to hire two additional full time substitutes for the balance of this school year.
