The St. Elmo district will soon be looking for a new superintendent.

The school board Monday accepted the resignation of current superintendent Julie Healy, as she intends to retire. The retirement is effective June 30.

St. Elmo board members also purchased interactive whiteboards for District classrooms, purchased lockers for the girls locker room, and voted to seek bids for a bus garage expansion project.

The Board approved Kori Machado as a volunteer assistant junior high volleyball coach, approved the resignation of junior high cheerleading coach Shannon Zerrusen, and approved the employment of Morgan Cox and Sandra Ehrat as co-sponsors of junior high cheerleading for the remainder of the school year.
