Ameren Illinois is seeking to charge more money for delivering natural gas. The utility has filed a delivery rate case with the Illinois Commerce Commission.

It's asking for an additional 50-million dollars annually. The additional charge would increase the annual bill of a typical family by 38 dollars. The ICC isn't expected to rule on the case until year's end.
