No charges are being pressed at this time following a disturbance Tuesday at a local alternative school.

The call for Effingham City Police came just after noon to the school, which is located in the former West Side School building on West Fayette Avenue.

Officers were called after some desks were overturned by a student. No one was injured in the incident.
