Unit 40 to Hold Band-O-Rama Concert Friday Night

Effingham Unit 40 School District will present its annual Band-O-Rama Concert Friday nigh at 7pm in the large gym at Effingham High School.

All six curricular bands will perform in this 45-minute concert.  Bands include the Central School 5th Grade Beginning Band, Effingham Junior High School 6th Grade Cadet Band, Effingham Junior High School 7th Grade Concert Band, Effingham Junior High School 8th Grade Symphonic Band, Effingham High School Concert Band, and the Effingham High School Wind Ensemble.

Each band will perform one piece, then combine for a massed performance of Beethoven's "Ode to Joy".  Over 400 band students will participate.

The concert is free.
