Arrest Following Altercation at Local Establishment

Effingham City Police made an arrest of a man over the weekend on a series of charges.

54-year-old Paul Hendrixson, who had addresses in both Effingham and Lake Villa, was arrested Saturday night at another local establishment after the altercation occurred at Trucker's Pub in Effingham.

City Police Assistant Chief Kurt Davis said Hendrixson was arrested on counts of unlawful use of a weapon for carrying a prohibited weapon in a licensed alcohol establishment. Hendrixson was also arrested on counts of aggravated assault as well as DUI alcohol and DUI drugs, disorderly conduct and no valid driver's license.

Hendrixson is to make his first court appearance with counsel on January 26.
