4,453 New COVID Cases Reported in Illinois Monday

The Illinois Department of Public Health Monday reported 4,453 new confirmed or probable cases of coronavirus disease in the state. That includes 105 additional COVID-related deaths.
The only COVID-related death in the area Monday was that of a male in his 90s in Marion County.
As of Sunday night, 4,243 people in Illinois were reported to be in the hospital with COVID-19. Of those, 884 patients were in the ICU and 515 patients with COVID-19 were on ventilators.
