Olney Man Injured in Jasper County Crash

An Olney man was injured in a crash Tuesday night in Jasper County.

Illinois State Police report the crash occurred at 9:45pm on the Ste. Marie Road, south of Jasper County Road 50. A car driven by 63-year-old Jeffrey Nicholas of Olney was southbound when the car drove off the roadway into the right ditch and ended traveling through the ditch before coming to a stop.

Nicholas was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Nicholas was cited for improper lane usage.
