Effingham County Adds 36 New Positive Cases of COVID-19 Monday

Effingham County's Health Department added 36 new cases of COVID-19 Monday, as factored into IDPH's earlier report of 8,691 new cases of the virus.
New case demographics are as follows:
The 7-day rolling test positivity average is 12.2% through December 4, with Effingham County falling slightly to 20.1% for the same period.
Health officials continue to urge the public to follow safety guidelines to help reduce community spread of the virus.
