The Effingham County Health Department reports the COVID-related deaths of a man in his 90s and a woman in her 90s, bringing the number of COVID-related deaths in the county to 30.
The Health Department also announced 67 new positive test results from Saturday and Sunday, bringing the total number of positive COVID cases for the county to 3,178.
The demographic breakdown in the county for Saturday and Sunday is:
MALE--three less than 10 years old, seven teens, one in his 20s, five in their 30s, three in their 40s, three in their 50s, five in their 60s, six in their 70s, and two in their 80s.
FEMALE--four less than 10 years old, two in their teens, four in their 20s, four in their 30s, four in their 40s, two in their 50s, five in their 60s, four in their 70s, two in their 80s, and one more than 100 years old.
The Illinois Region 6 test positivity rolling seven-day average was 12.1% through December 3, while the Effingham County rate came in at 20.4% for the same period.
