48 New Cases, 1 COVID-related Death in Effingham County Tuesday

Effingham County's Health Department Tuesday reported one additional death, and 48 new cases of COVID-19.
The COVID-related death of a man in his 90s is under investigation.
Through November 28m the 7-day rolling positivity test rate for Region 6 has fallen to 11.9%, while Effingham County remains at 23% for the same period.

Health officials continue to urge the public to follow safety guidelines to help reduce community spread of the virus.
