Two Crashes in City w/Injuries Over Weekend

Two crashes resulting in injuries occurred in Effingham over the Memorial Day weekend.
One crash occurred at 10:24am Saturday north of the intersection of Keller Drive and Ford Avenue. A deer struck a vehicle driven by 19-year-old Tanner Conway of Mason. A passenger, LaKyn Conway of Mason, was injured and was taken by ambulance to St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment. No tickets were issued.
The other crash occurred at 3:33pm Sunday north of the intersection of Keller Drive and Evergreen Avenue. A vehicle driven by 27-year-old Ashlee Upton of Flora struck a motorcycle operated by 35-year-old Sherman Davis of St. Louis, Missouri. Davis was injured, but refused treatment. Upton was cited for failure to yield.
