St. Anthony High School will hold a ceremony Friday morning during which an image of the Sacred Heart will be enthroned.

The practice on enthronement stems from one of the promises given by Christ to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque.  The promise is "I will bless every dwelling where an image of My Heart is both exposed and honored."

According to St. Anthony officials, by enthroning the image of the Sacred Heart, they are asking for the Lord's continued blessings on St. Anthony High School as they seek not just to form good students but, more importantly, good disciples for living their faith and carrying their faith with them throughout their lives.

In addition to the enthronement, they will place an image of the Immaculate Heart of May next to the image of the Sacred Heart and make an Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, asking for her intercession for the spiritual well-being of the school.

All are welcome to attend Friday morning's ceremony.
