Car Fire in Effingham Ties Up Traffic

A Tuesday morning car fire held up traffic for those headed into Effingham for school and work.

Effingham firefighters were called to the intersection of 3rd Street and Technology Drive at 7:47am.  A fire in the engine compartment damaged a car owned by Aaron Zane of Greenup.  Zane was not injured.

Firefighters were on scene for about half an hour.
