100+ Women Who Care of Effingham County held their first meeting of 2020 and made their first endowment presentation.
Each woman who is part of the organization makes a $100 contribution at each of the three gatherings each year, plus a $100 contribution to the organization's endowment fund.
The initial recipient of the 100+ Women Endowment is Ballard Nature Center, located along US Route 40 between Altamont and Effingham. The endowment totaled $2,400.
The women will next meet on April 16 at The Smart Building on South Raney Street in the Effingham Business Park.
