Teutopolis village board members heard this week more about the possible construction of a new village hall.
Dave Tegeler provided members with updated cost figures. The members will now review those figures and then vote on whether to approve a contract for the design of a new hall.
The village board has been discussing a new village hall for years, and has been salting away funds to help pay for the project.
Board members also got preliminary rates and changes to the village sewer ordinance. The Board's sewer committee will review the figures and make a recommendation to the full board on any changes in sewer rates.
The Board also approved a 60-day extension of time for the residents of 417 W. Elm to correct a sewer connection problem. Also, Village Foreman Carl Pals was authorized to spend $10,023 on repairs to a backhoe.
Board members also agreed to release its claim on a lot in Prairie View Subdivision.
