St. Elmo school board members this week approved a risk management plan for the district, and received a mid-year district financial update from Superintendent Julie Healy.

The Board approved a contract with KAM Services for asbestos abatement services and approved a contract with Reliable Environmental Solutions for asbestos abatement services.

In personnel moves, the St. Elmo board approved a separation agreement with Kate Niemeier along with her resignation from employment with the District, effective immediately, and approved Glen Mills as a long-term substitute for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. The Board also approved a leave of absence for Abby Fryer, and approved Cassidy Moss as a volunteer assistant volleyball coach.
