Meet the Democrat Candidates for Congress Sunday

You'll have an opportunity to meet and hear from the Democrat candidates for Congress in the 15th District on Sunday.

Candidates Kevin Gaither of Charleston, Erika Weaver of Mattoon, Craig Morton of Salem and John Hursey of Collinsville will participate in a forum at the Carnegie Public Library in Charleston Sunday from 2:30 to 4pm. The forum will take place in the Rotary Rooms of the library, located at the corner of 6th Street and Van Buren Avenue.

Sunday's event is sponsored by the Coles Progressives and Charleston Huddle organizations.

There are also six candidates for the Republican nomination. Those 10 are seeking to replace retiring Republican John Shimkus in Congress.
