Injuries resulted from a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Fayette and Banker in Effingham.

The crash occurred at 3:21pm Friday.  City police say a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Amanda Krietemeyer of Teutopolis rear-ended a vehicle driven by 58-year-old Marla Bushur of Effingham, causing Bushur's vehicle to rear-end a vehicle driven by 51-year-old Sherry Simpson of Casey.

Simpson and a passenger in Simpson's vehicle, 20-year-old Joel Simpson of Casey, were both injured but refused treatment.

Krietemeyer was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid the crash.
