The taxpayer watchdog group known as "For the Good of Illinois" will hold a meet and greet Tuesday evening in Effingham.

"For the Good of Illinois" seeks to open the books on government spending at all levels, with a particular interest lately in shedding light on fiscal practices in Springfield.

"For the Good of Illinois" is headed by Adam Andrzejewski, a former candidate for governor who may make another run for the office in 2014.

Tuesday's meet and greet will begin at 5:15pm at the Effingham Elks Lodge on South Banker.
