Three people were injured in a collision at Fayette and Maple in Effingham just after 8:30am Tuesday.

City police say a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Laci Willenborg of Teutopolis rear-ended a vehicle driven by 49-year-old Sheila Haythorne of Altamont.

Willenborg was injured, but declined treatment.  Haythorne and her passenger, 49-year-old William Kincaid of Altamont, were injured and were taken by ambulance to St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment.

Willenborg was cited for following too closely.
