State Fair? There's an App for That

The Illinois State Fair is offering a mobile app for planning your visit. Available for both Apple and Android devices, it's a FREE app. 
 
The Illinois State Fair mobile app has information regarding every corner of the fairgrounds. From Grandstand concerts to maps to help you find everything from parking, bathrooms and barns, this app provides you with the tools you need to help you navigate your way around the state fairgrounds. The app also contains other helpful tools such as a food finder, daily schedule of events, and a list of all FREE musical acts in the Illinois State Fair Beer Tents.

“The mobile app adds another level of convenience for fairgoers,” said State Fair Manager Kevin Gordon. “Even before you arrive on the fairgrounds you can begin customizing your Illinois State Fair experience. It’s a great resource to ensure you don’t miss out of your favorite fair attractions or favorite fair food.”

Explore the Fairgrounds

• Browse the fairgrounds with an interactive map, powered by Google Earth. Filter results to find exactly what you are looking for: restrooms, cooling centers, storm shelters and more.
• Take a self-guided tour of the various agriculture destinations on the fairgrounds
• From biscuits and gravy to the newest and wildest deep-fried fair food concoction, find all the food items offered on the fairgrounds. There are more 150 food vendors at this year’s fair!

• Buy Now, Save Time!  Buy admission tickets, Mega Passes and concert tickets from the convenience of your mobile phone.  
• Start planning today by visiting the mobile app’s daily schedule. Here, you can save must-see events and shows in your personal mobile itinerary.
