Neoga school board members Thursday dealt with several personnel matters.

It was the Board's first meeting under new superintendent Bill Fritcher.

The Board accepted resignations from Michael Mellott as Music teacher, Gwyn Smith as high school Math teacher, Angie Eden as head cook, and Shari Roy as paraprofessional.

The Board employed Haley Towle as high school head volleyball coach, Grace Majors as Music teacher, Tami Ray as elementary school clerk, and Cheryl Welch as mid-day preschool driver. Also approved was Terry Althoff as non-paid volunteer bass fishing coach.

The Neoga Board approved amending the calendar for the coming school year; discussed transportation and concerns over a shortage of bus drivers; and agreed to have a Tax Increment Financing placed on the next agenda.
