NTC Student-Athletes Recognized

This year's crop of National Trail Conference student-athletes was recognized at Saturday night's NTC Basketball Tournament championship game.
Those recognized include:
Altamont--Kelsey York, daughter of Brian and Brenda York
--Jonathan Kuhns, son of Steve and Sheila Kuhns
Beecher City--Ava Paruleski, daughter of Dave and Laura Paruleski
--Blake McKay, son of Dan and Rita McKay
Brownstown--Kayla Black, daughter of Michael and Karel Black
--Matthew Sefton, son of Steve and Donell Sefton
Cowden-Herrick--Rachel Allen, daughter of Shana Lieb and Rex Allen
--Luke Moore, son of Todd and Rebecca Moore
Dieterich--Candace Niemerg, daughter of Duane and Annette Niemerg
--Dalton Hinterscher, son of Ray and Cindy Hinterscher
Neoga--Kamryn Boarman, daughter of Amy and Doug Baker and Rob and Martha Boarman
--Michael Baker, son of Jim and Jane Baker
St. Anthony--Amber Wenthe, daughter of Brad and Vicki Wenthe
--Jesse Haarmann, son of Tom and Janet Haarmann
St. Elmo--Megan Maxey, daughter of Michael and Brandi Maxey
--Garrett Bartels, son of Gary and Glenda Bartels
South Central--Macie Cain, daughter of Dale and Teresa Cain

Stewardson-Strasburg--Kelsie Walden, daughter of Kent and Jenny Walden
--Jason Becker, son of Steven and Esther Becker
Windsor--Charley Bailey, daughter of Charles and Gloria Bailey
--Cole Tilford, son of James and Kimberly Tilford
Two $1,000 scholarships are awarded each year by the conference; one to a male student-athlete and one to a female student-athlete.
This year's recipients are Austin Schwarm of South Central High School and Candace Niemerg of Dieterich High School.
