No public comments were shared at Wednesday night's public hearing on a proposed Effingham Park Board bond sale.

The Board is considering the sale of up to $500,000 in bonds.  The proceeds would help finance a series of projects this year.  They include replacing the lighting on one of the softball diamonds at Hendelmeyer Park...asphalting more roads and parking areas at Community Park...building a dog park and putting in two practice ball diamonds at Evergreen Hollow Park...and related costs.

Park District Director Jeff Althoff said a vote to sell the bonds would likely come at the Board's February monthly meeting.
