Final Day to Enter Halloween Parade

Today is the final official day to enter the 2018 Effingham Halloween Parade. The parade is sponsored each year by Effingham Sunrise Rotary.

The parade, the largest each year in Effingham, will step off at 2pm Sunday, October 28, forming along Maple Street by First Presbyterian Church at Temple Avenue. The procession will head south on Maple, in front of HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital, to Jefferson Avenue, then east on Jefferson into the downtown area, disbanding by the old Courthouse.

The parade theme is "Favorite Disney Characters". A $50 donation is required from all political entries.

All entries will receive their number via email by Wednesday, October 24. Late entries will need to call either Nathan Earnest at 347-5181 or Becky Brown at 342-4147.
